OUR PASTOR

 

I would like to introduce myself, I am Fred Laux, the newly appointed local pastor of the Tranquility United Methodist Church. I would like to invite everyone to join us on Sunday at 10 o’clock for our worship service and for coffee afterwards at the community house. I am very thrilled and honored to be of service to this congregation. I am looking forward to meeting everyone, so please come by and say hello. I love this area of New Jersey! I’ve been living in Sussex County for nearly 40 years. I am originally from Totowa Borough right outside of Paterson. I grew up and went to school in Passaic County so you can see that I am a Jersey boy at heart. I currently live in West Milford

with my Wife Joanne.

Let us Pray:
Spirit of kindness and compassion, we come from different places to this sacred ground of communal caring. We are enriched by the company of each other, and are drawn closer to the heart of love in this time of service. Touch this community with tenderness so that we may be refreshed anew by the grace that encompasses this this day and every day in the name of Jesus the Christ. Amen.
